X-ray Treatment device OXRAY

Medical Equipment

Hitachi High-Tech, Ltd.

The OXRAY is a cancer treatment system in which the stage and the inside of the gantry rotate on two axes to irradiate X-rays from various angles. By using the gimbal function to track and irradiate cancer tissue that moves with respiration, the physical burden is minimized and highly accurate treatment is possible. This reduces side effects and treatment time. In addition, the irradiation range has been expanded to accommodate more cases, and throughput has been significantly improved by integrating individual systems. These improvements are expected to increase the number of patients that can be treated and improve local medical resources.
