iF DESIGN STUDENT AWARD 2025
One of the world's premier design awards for students, receiving roughly 10,000 entries annually from all over the world. iF Design, together with our Sponsors offers a platform for innovative student concepts. Winners gain global recognition and a portion of the 50,000 EUR prize money.
The Awards Ceremony will take place on 20 June 2025 at the stunning Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain, UNESCO City of Design since 2014. The event is supported and co-sponsored by the Bilbao City Council, the Provincial Council of Bizkaia and the Basque Government, as they share and endorse the objective of promoting cultural and creative industries, design, young talent and the commitment to the SDGs.
Together with EIDE BASQUE DESIGN, our strong partner in the innovative metropolis of Bilbao, iF Design will organize a full 2-day program – with visits to universities and the creative industry, and hosting workshops and networking events for the Winners of the iF DESIGN STUDENT AWARD 2025.

Evaluation Criteria & Jury Process
The iF DESIGN STUDENT AWARD Jury evaluates all entries using five updated criteria.
Step 1: Online Jury
Based on the five evaluation criteria, the jurors evaluate each entry
The top 300 concepts qualify for the Final Jury
Step 2: Final Jury
The Final Jury meets on 25 April 2025 to examine the qualified entries
They select the iF DESIGN STUDENT AWARD winners and distribute the prize money
