This is a construction plan for a partly wooden commercial building as an investment asset for a development fund that is committed to being environmentally friendly, new normal, and local production for local consumption. Our challenge was to broaden the investment market for environmentally friendly real estate, so we used a fund scheme called SPC to promote mid- to high-rise wooden buildings in urban areas. We also aimed to create an atmosphere where people feel the rich greenery of Sendai with balcony and its adjacent wooden common area on every floor.
