The New PONSSE Scorpion Cabin

Forest harvester

Ponsse Oyj

The new Ponsse Scorpion cabin tackles two of the main concerns with forest harvesters – creating an ergonomic and comfortable working environment for the operator, and being as gentle as possible to the surrounding environment. One of the benefits of the cut-to-length method is that tree trunks do not need to be dragged along the forest floor to a processing area, resulting in less damage and disturbance to the forest. The new design of the cabin allows operators to be even more precise and gentle.
