REMINISCENCE
Lighting Solution for Automotive Interior Trim
REMINISCENCE is a material design solution that best reflects the sustainable and human-friendly interior design philosophy embraced by mobility as it evolves into electric and autonomous vehicles. We captured the feeling of warm sunshine filtering through the forest leaves by combining lighting with a specially devised translucent biomaterial that does not reveal the internal structure. It’s not just a lighting effect; we used the motif of the photosynthesizing mechanism of leaves to complete astonishing CMF variations in response to the presence of light by carefully adjusting the transmittance of the translucent material.
