The Diamond kitchen model uses a geometric grid as a design principle, which quotes the 60x60 kitchen standard introduced by Poggenpohl in 1950. The grid lines, contrasting in material and color, run through the entire wall design of the shelves and cabinets, framing them and defining the proportions. For this premium kitchen-range, the designers wanted to break the mould of conventional kitchen cabinet-design by presenting a truly three-dimensional front reminiscent of the art of traditional cabinet-making.
