Screen Design

Panasonic

X300 is the first tri-band mobile phone designed with a one-push pop-up screen. It features a side mounted built-in camera, 65K colour LCD, video record and play back capability, polyphonic ring tones and MMS. The perceptive positioning of the MMI device and screen layout allows for intuitive operation, perfecting the harmony between form and style. The GUI design applies the theory of psychology and cognitive science assisting the user to memorize functions and meanings in a most efficient manner. Each icon is carefully designed in every detail not only for the sake of visual appearance, but also to be cognitive and yet discriminative. Moreover, the animating and glowing 'TV' style icon window emphasizes its picture and movie features in a sensual manner.
