NISSIN FOODS HOLDINGS CO., LTD.

NISSIN wished to mark the 60th anniversary of instant ramen and achieve stronger name recognition overseas. The compositions and colors of ukiyo-e woodblock prints, which had an effect on contemporary European artists, would provide an exciting way to visualize NISSIN's cross-cultural influence. Drawing on the works of Hokusai and Hiroshige, these commissioned illustrations mix elements from various eras into a whimsical world of instant noodles that is accessible, modern, and undeniably Japanese. The report communicates the NISSIN brand’s creativity and fun using images that invite readers to slow down and learn more about the company.
