This support service facilitates coordination between local governments and communities in emergencies, helping confirm residents’ safety and support evacuations. Japan is among the world’s most disaster-prone countries, and ensuring older people and others who have difficulty evacuating alone are not left behind is a major challenge. NEC developed this digital system to help municipalities and communities achieve this. Diligently applying input from on-site tests, it is designed to facilitate adoption and operation by municipalities and provide intuitive operation for residents, leading to greater reassurance in the event of a disaster.
