One of the enduring design faults of smartphones has been their susceptibility to water damage. And whereas a damaged screen can be replaced, a phone that has fallen into water is often irreparable. The MEIZU Zero determinedly and consistently solves this problem. Many of its unique design features follow the function of a non-porous waterproof casing. First, physical buttons have been replaced by virtual solid-state buttons, with the built-in mEngine haptic engine emulating the feel of a real button-press.
