MamaAnne
Patient Simulator
Laerdal Medical ASMamaAnne is a full-body birthing simulator, designed to train healthcare workers in assisting childbirth and managing obstetric emergencies. In the US, women today face double the risk of dying during childbirth than their mothers did. Many of these deaths are preventable through timely interventions by well-trained healthcare teams. By focusing on a realistic representation of birth and common emergencies, MamaAnne supports effective training while simplifying setup and operation. This allows simulation centers to maximize learner’s training time and empowers healthcare teams to improve maternal and neonatal outcomes.
