Kinari Cutlery
Portable cutlery made from plant-fibre composite
Panasonic Production Engineering Co., Ltd.
In collaboration with Panasonic, Tom Robinson Studio designed a nestling cutlery set for eating in public & on-the-go, made from Panasonic’s pioneering Kinari material - a mold-able composite made from up to 85% natural or waste fibers. The Kinari Cutlery Set offers a positive alternative to disposable cutlery, providing you with portable eating tools that are elegant, compact, heat-resistant, durable, lightweight and re-usable. The shallow grooved profiles of the fork and spoon directly reference that of a thumb and finger, providing an intuitively comfortable grip and a stack-able nestling profile that can fit in a clothing pocket or bag.
