The design takes the product sub-name Houdao as its starting point. "Houdao" associates with goodness and purity, like water itself. Water is also an important ingredient in the making of alcoholic beverages, which this bottle showcases through a color coating technology. The bottle color runs a gradient from deep red to a more transparent shade, becoming completely clear at the bottom to reveal the clear spirit and a replica of a water well. The packaging expresses the goodness and purity of the product, like the purest waters from ancient wells.
