INFINITY MIRROR EFFECT

Interactive automobile lighting

LOTTE Chemical Corp.

LOTTE Chemical plans to apply the Infinity Mirror effect to the interior and exterior of future-oriented concept vehicles. The Infinity Mirror effect, based on transparent material with optical features and plating material, reduces the number of light sources necessary while creating a deep sense of space by generating the effect without spatial constraints. When the effect is applied to the interior and exterior of future cars, it is expected to enable communication between drivers and pedestrians as well as vehicle-to-vehicle interaction through changes in color or movement.
