Foot switch

The Footswitch VIO has been developed for use of different ERBE surgical units. The design reflects the tension between medical precision and the robust tool-character of a foot-operated device, which will be trampled by foot in the truest sense of the word. Situated underneath the table the switch is not visible during surgery, but sensible: The surgeon must activate it blindly and –very important- safely. For this operation a stainless steel bracket is provided with which the user can feel around and that he can orient towards the appropriate direction. So the position of the reduced designed pedals becomes doubtless clear.
