Duo handles

FSB - Franz Schneider Brakel GmbH + Co KG

A number of “designer duos” devised lever handle sets for our “DuoHandles – HandleDuos” workshop. The point of reference was that doors have two sides that do not necessarily have to be fitted with identical handles. This design was based on the sequence of movements involved in opening and closing a door. The two handles have the same underlying design, but are distinguished by details indicating the differing ways of grasping a handle. The handle used to push the door open features a thumb rest, while the one used to pull it open is fitted with a forefinger furrow.
