Bus terminal

In Nitra a bus station that was in operation for over 4 decades was in need of extension and modernization. The new long-distant bus terminal represents the second phase of this project. As such it was important to ensure it communicated visually with the adjacent local bus terminal. At the same time, the innovative design produced a compact and enticing structure that uniquely combines aesthetic boldness and technical ingenuity. Putting user comfort first, the designers from studio 519 decided to find a way to envelop the entirety of the station and integrate all the utilities into the structure.
