Intergenerational Storytelling Device

Bluff Book uses AI voice-to-image technology to transform spoken stories into real-time visuals, making storytelling more engaging, immersive, and interactive. It bridges the generational gap by helping grandparents capture children’s attention with exciting technology, while fostering emotional connections and preserving cultural heritage. The printing module turns AI-generated visuals into colorful, tangible pages, creating a hands-on experience. By blending technology with tradition, Bluff Book ensures that family stories are shared, remembered, and cherished for generations.

JURY STATEMENT

This proposal strengthens intergenerational bonds by blending the age-old tradition of adults reading and telling stories to children with the latest electronic media and AI-enhanced visualization. The design is user-centered, ensuring accessibility and creating a warm, engaging environment for families. This design creatively counteracts the trend away from analog books by unobtrusively integrating technology into the storytelling experience.
